30 years ago this month, a team from Save the Rhino International climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in the rhino costume to raise funds for the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary.

Terry Stevenson, one of Africa's foremost bird tour guides and co-author of the acclaimed Birds of East Africa - widely regarded as one of the best field guides to any region of the world - visited Kora in December with Jane Macleod and Thump Campbell. They listed 150 species of birds in three an a half days, and will return in the dry season and extend the count.
